Heat Shrinkable Tubes

Heat shrinkable tubes act as a protective covering for wires, terminals, joints, connections, etc., as it provides protection against cut, impact, dust, fine particulates, moisture, chemical and abrasion. Polyolefin is the most common material used for making heat shrinkable semi-conducting tube and stress control tube. Other than this, FEP, PVC, PVDF and other thermoplastic materials can also be used in the production process. Apart from the benefit of complete protection, heat shrinkable tubes are beneficial in achieving smooth texture, finished look, organized electrically and thermally insulated wires. These create a seal that provides defense against environmental conditions.
